Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 July/ Trend , corr E. Ismayilov/ Complex Drilling Operation trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has completed the drilling of new deep development well in onshore Jafarli field, trust said. The depth of the well makes up 3,970m of the target depth of 4,050.
"Geophysical operations are being conducted in the well and the development of the well will begin within next few days," trust said.
At present, the depth of one development well in Jafarli field totals to 3,700m of the target 4,050m. The drilling operations in this well are expected to be completed in a month.
New wells are expected to produce some 60 to 70 tons of oil each a day.
