Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 August / Trend / In January to July, the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of SOCAR exported about 1.36mln tons of oil products from oil refinery plants in Azerbaijan, while the export in the same period of 2007 comprised 1.64mln tons.
Oil products in Azerbaijan are produced at two Baku oil refineries with the total capacity of 20mln tons of oil per year. Both refineries are owned by SOCAR, which annually processes over 6mln tons of oil produced in the offshore and onshore fields through its own funds.
