Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 August / Trend / In January-July 2008, Azerbaijan imported 189.4mln kW/h of electric power, which is by 67.8% less than the same period of 2007. About $7.4mln of electric power was imported, which is by 57.6% less that the same period of 2007.
Cement clinker made 464,200 tons (practically same with the figure of 2007), amounting to more than $14.3mln (by 43.1% less than 2007) amongst the general volume of imported production in 2008. Cement imported at 602,000 tons volume (by 16.6% more than 2007), amounting to more than $22.6mln (by 8.1% less than 2007).
Within January-June, the country imported 332,300 gas, water and electric meters, which is by 45.7% less that the same period of 2007. Meters worth $16.3mln were imported, which is by 7.4% less than 2007.
