Ukraine, Kiev, 5 September/ Trend / The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuli Timoshenko and US Vice President Richard Cheney discusses regional security, maintaining stability in the region and Ukraine and possibilities of diversification of sources of supply of energy sources, UNIAN quoted spokesman of Ukrainian Prime Minister Marina Sorok as saying.
At the beginning of the meeting Timoshenko thanked Cheney for a support that Washington provides Kiev in the issues of development of democracy.
Moreover, the Ukrainian Prime Minister informed US Vice President of the results of activities of the government.
"The democratic government and democratic parliament provided the highest economic growth indicator for the last years- 6.5%." she added.
Timoshenko-Cheney meeting lasted 40 minutes instead planned 20 minutes.
