International Energy Agency Forecasts Decline in Oil Demand in 2009

Azerbaijan, Baku, November 13/ Trend , corr A. Badalova/ The International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasts decline in oil demand by 330,000 barrels a day in 2008 and by 670,000 barrels a day in 2009.

According to new forecast, oil demand will go up by 0.12mln barrels a day to 86.2mln barrels in 2008 and by 0.35mln barrels to 86.5mln barrels a day in 2009, according to IEA forecast posted on the official website of agency.

IEA also forecasts decline in a supply of non-OPEC countries by 85,000 barrels to 49.7mln barrels a day in 2008 and by 145,000 barrels to 50.3mln barrels a day in 2009.
