Kazakh oil will be transported to China if commercial terms are profitable, KazEnergy association chairman Timur Kulibayev told media answering Trend correspondent's question in Astana on June 11.

"Chinese pipeline will operate in 2010. If commercial terms are profitable and China suggests normal price, oil will be transported this direction. There are no political moments on this regards. We have no contradictions with our directions: Russia, China and Caucasus," Kulibayev said.

Talks on realization of Kazakh Caspian Transportation System were stirred up in Astana last week.

One of reasons of this stirring up was increase of oil production in Tengiz. "We construct Kazakh Caspian Transportation System for Tengiz oil and Kashagan oil in future. As there are share holders in companies-operators both in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, oil from Tengiz and Kashagan will be transported via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and the Caspian Sea to Baku," Kulibayev said answering the question of Trend correspondent.

Issue was raised concerning delivery of Tengiz oil on world markets in connection with increase of output volumes. KazEnergy head said that launching of Kazakh Caspian Transportation System scheduled for 2012.
