U.S. states oil production growth of Caspian region

The U.S. State Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that, in January-November 2009, the average daily oil production in the Caspian region amounted to 15.98 million barrels per day, which is 360,000 barrels per day higher than production for the same period of 2008.

Based on EIA monthly report, in November the average daily oil production of the Caspian countries amounted to 16,272 million barrels compared to 15.611 million in November 2008.

In January-November 2009, Azerbaijan's average daily oil production amounted to 1.01 million barrels, Iran - 4,033 million barrels, Kazakhstan - 1,449 million barrels and Russia - 9.484 million barrels, EIA reported.
