Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 12 / Trend A. Badalova /

The International Energy Agency predicts an increase in world oil demand in 2010 by 1.6 million barrels per day (1.8 percent) to 86.6 million barrels per day.

The IEA's report on the oil market published today said that the increase in oil demand this year will be observed due to high growth in demand in countries not included in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The IEA estimates that world oil supply in February increased by 0.9 million barrels per day to 86.6 million barrels per day.

The IEA predicted the volume of countries' supply not included in OPEC will hit 51.8 million barrels per day in 2010 or 0,2 million barrels per day more than in 2009.

According to IEA estimates, OPEC's oil output hit 29.2 million barrels per day in February.
