In January-February, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) supplied 500.2 million cubic meters of gas to the Azerbaijani population, SOCAR reported. In February, the company transferred to 243.7 million cubic meters of gas to the subscribers.
The company transferred about 173 million cubic meters of gas to the industrial facilities. In February, the industry received about 81.3 million cubic meters of gas.
SOCAR delivered about 83.8 million cubic meters of gas to the municipal public utilities in period. InFebruary, the figure was about 42.6 million cubic meters.
During the report period, SOCAR transferred 16.6 million cubic meters of gas to the state energy agency of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In February, the figure was 8.6 million cubic meters.
Previously, all gas operations within the country implemented by Azerigaz. In June 2009 Azerigaz was reorganized as production union under SOCAR.
