The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,338 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (March 22-29). The price is 16 euro more than the average price for the previous week.
The highest price - 1,507 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in the Netherlands. The price increased by 10 euro.
The lowest price was 1,010 euro per 1,000 liters in Cyprus compared to 997 euro per 1,000 liters a week earlier.
Denmark took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,466 euro per 1,000 liters or 11 euro more than the previous week.
Germany took third place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,450 euro per 1,000 liters and increased by 62 euro.
Greece took the fourth with the price hitting 1,431 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,428 per 1,000 liters a week earlier.
Finland took the fifth place with the price hitting 1,423 euro per 1,000 liters.
The price hit 1,413 euro per 1,000 liters last week compared to 1,400 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week in Belgium.
Portugal took the seventh place last week. The price was 1,382 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,376 euro the previous week.
Italy took the eighth place last week. Prices hit 1,377 euro per 1,000 liters and increased by 1 euro.
The price hit 1,357 euro per 1,000 liters in France last week compared to 1,360 euro per 1,000 liters a week earlier.
The price was 1,342 euro per 1,000 liters in Sweden last week or 8 euro per 1,000 liters more than a week earlier.
