Within the first stage of expansion of the capacity of Garadagh underground gas reservoir, the daily volume of gas injected will be increased to seven million cubic meters compared to the current 2.5-3 million, SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) said.
This will be possible after a new gas compressor station will be put into operation.
According to the report, as a result of the planned activities, the capacity of the gas reservoir will be increased to 2.3 billion cubic meters compared to the current 400-600 million cubic meters.
