SOCAR Georgia Petroleum put into operation three petrol stations under SOCAR's brand in Georgia, SOCAR said.

Both petrol stations are located in the city of Batumi, one - at the entrance to the city, and the second - on the road, leading towards the Georgian border with Turkey.

The total number of petrol stations under SOCAR's brand is 42 units.

SOCAR Energy Georgia head (represents the interests of SOCAR in Georgia) Mahir Mammadov and head of government of Adjara Autonomous Republic, Levan Varsholamadze attended the opening ceremony. Other officials and representatives of the public also attended the ceremony.

Co-founders of SOCAR Energy Georgia are: SOCAR - 51 percent, Petro-Trans FZCO - 24,5 percent and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 24,5 percent.
