SOCAR opens 50th gas station in Georgia

SOCAR Georgia Petroleum opened a new gas station under SOCAR brand in Kvareli (Kakheti region) in Georgia, SOCAR said today.
Total number of gas stations under SOCAR brand in Georgia reached 50 units with commissioning of the new gas station.
The new gas station's opening ceremony was attended by SOCAR Energy Georgia head Mahir Mammadov and Kakheti region's governor Giorgi Gviniashvili.
SOCAR hopes to have 60 stations in operation by late this year.
SOCAR Georgia was cofounded by: SOCAR (51 percent), Petro-Trans FZCO (24.5 percent) and Ivan Chkhartishvili (24.5 percent).
