Ashyrguly Begliev has been appointed the Deputy Director of the State Agency for the Management and Use of Oil and Gas Resources under the President of Turkmenistan. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov signed the relevant document.
The main tasks of this agency is consideration of investment proposals, issuance of licenses for the use of hydrocarbon resources, holding negotiations, signing contracts with foreign organizations in the construction and use of pipelines.
The Agency under production sharing agreements (PSAs) license exploration projects and development projects.
At present, six projects are being implemented with companies from Malaysia, Germany, UAE, UK, Canada, Russia, Austria and China based on these agreements with foreign companies on land and in sea in Turkmenistan.
