President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has approved amendments to the Law "On Hydrocarbon Resources", proposed last week by the Parliament.
The document says that the seventh part of Article 64 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On Hydrocarbon Resources" adopted by the Majlis of Turkmenistan on August 20, 2008, should go as follows:
"7. Licensing of hydrocarbon resources exploration and extraction works that are not regulated by this law is held in accordance with the law of Turkmenistan "On licensing of certain activities". "
It was said at a regular meeting of the Turkmen parliament that "this law is aimed at the rational use and conservation of natural resources of the country for future generations."
