Uzbekneftegaz National Holding management will discuss expanding the cooperation with Malaysian delegation, headed by a representative of the management of the Foreign Trade Development Corporation, the holding said on Friday.
The Malaysian delegation includes the heads of companies working in the oil and gas sector.
The two sides discussed the prospective areas of the cooperation. The parties agreed that the cooperation can be productive in producing various chemicals and equipment for the oil and gas sector.
Petronas International Corporation (Petronas) and KNM Group Berhad (KNM) are the major Malaysian companies operating in the Uzbek oil and gas sector.
