Kazakhstan will prolong a ban on petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) export in 2012, Oil and Gas Minister of Kazakhstan Sauat Mynbayev said on Wednesday, Novosti Kazakhstan reported.
"The ban will be exactly prolonged," Mynbayev told journalists on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Senate's (Kazakh parliament's upper house) plenary session.
Kazakhstan imposed a ban on POL export before sowing work in May 2010. Later the ban was prolonged by several times.
