Liquefied natural gas production in Kazakhstan in January, 2012 amounted to 181,800 tons, compared to 185,000 tons in January, 2011, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend on Tuesday.
The production of LNG in the country in January, 2012 is 12.3 percent less than the production of the previous month, and 1.4 percent less than in January, 2011.
LNG delivery to domestic market of Kazakhstan hit 58,200 tons in January, 2012, which is by 10.1 percent less than in the previous month and by 4.9 percent less than in January, 2011.
In January, 2012 LNG exports made up 149,000 tons.
