Iran to raise Mansouri oilfield’s output

The Mansouri oilfield's output in southwestern Iran will be boosted to 200,000 barrels per day (bpd) from 145,000 bpd once the second phase of its development plan is implemented, the ISNA News Agency reported.

A deal for starting the second phase of the development plan will be signed tomorrow. Mansouri oilfield is located about 60 kilometers north of the Persian Gulf and near the southwestern city of Ahvaz.

The Islamic Republic has the world's second largest crude reserves after Saudi Arabia and the second largest gas reserves behind Russia.
