The leadership of KazMunaiGas appealed to Lord Waverley - head of the British-Kazakh inter-parliamentary group in the British Parliament - for help in creating of joint ventures, chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunaiGas Lazzat Kiinov said.
"We have appealed to Lord Waverley, who led the Inter-Parliamentary Group in the British Parliament, to help us in the creation of joint ventures, production-oriented high-tech products and services, and thus creating new jobs," Kiinov said in an interview to Kazakh edition of Liter.
He noted that KazMunaiGas plans to work together to establish new industries and jobs, including by attracting foreign direct investment in the production of oil and gas equipment and development of service projects.
"In addition, the tender procedures will be reviewed in the frame of major oil and gas projects with a view to make the necessary changes to create favorable conditions for producers and service companies to encourage the organization of production and technology transfer to Kazakhstan," he said.
Kiinov also said the talks will also be held with the operators of major oil and gas projects in the deployment of guaranteed orders from newly formed companies in Kazakhstan.
