Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 3 / Trend V. Zhavoronkova /

Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will consider the source of oil supply to a SOCAR refinery in Kyrgyzstan, president of the Kyrgyz Association of Oil Traders Zhumakadyr Akeneev told Trend on Monday.

"At present, trilateral talks are being held in Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to construct a refinery and we look forward to the results," Akeneev said.

He said that different variants of providing the plant with oil will be considered during the talks although the exact variants are unknown.

"The Azerbaijani side has not been excluded from the plant construction," he said. "The issue of providing the plant with raw materials remains."

Akeneev added that the plant must be fully working in three years.

The sides previously agreed to consider the issue of a SOCAR refinery construction in Kyrgyzstan at a meeting of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev and SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev on January 19.
