The Kazakh government has prolonged a ban on petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) export in 2013, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
"The government decided to impose a six-month ban on the export of light distillate, gasoline and other oil products, except special gasoline and heating oil to prevent a critical shortage and prices rise for oil products in the domestic market," the document said.
Kazakhstan imposed a ban on POL export before sowing work in May 2010. Later the ban was prolonged by several times.
