Azneft Production Association of Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) produced over 5.1 million tons of oil which exceeds the forecasted figure by 1.1 per cent, a message published on the official website of the Production Association on Thursday said.
According to the message, the Production Association produced some 4.74 billion cubic meters of gas in January-September, which exceeded the forecasted figure by 2.4 per cent.
SOCAR includes the production association Azneft (companies producing oil and gas on land and sea), the production association Azerkimya (chemical industry), Azerigas production association (gas distribution).
In addition, the State Oil Company has a number of processing enterprises, service enterprises, institutions engaged in geophysical and drilling activities.
