By Fatih Karimov - Trend: A petrochemical company in Iran's southern province of Bushehr has been fined for smuggling fuel, IRNA quoted provincial official Mahmoud Ahmadi as saying on December 2.
The company used to smuggle fuel, mainly diesel, under the pretext of exporting petrochemical products.
The department for combating smuggling of goods has fined the company over 1.5 billion rials (about $61,000).
Diesel fuel constituted over 85 percent of the smuggled consignments.
