SOCAR transferred 346.61 million manat to the state budget in January-February 2014, which is by 81 million manat (30.1 percent) more than in the same period of 2013, SOCAR said on March 14.
SOCAR transferred 1.57 billion manat to the state budget in 2013, which is by 149.41 million manat (10.48 percent) more than in 2012.
SOCAR transferred 24.82 million manat to the State Social Protection Fund of the country in January-February, which is by 2.7 percent more than in January-February 2013.
SOCAR transferred 162.91 million manat to the State Social Protection Fund of the country in 2013, which is by 2.98 percent more than in 2012.
SOCAR includes Azneft (companies producing oil and gas onshore and offshore), Azerkimya (chemical industry), Azerigas (gas distribution) production associations.
The State Oil Company is the only producer of oil products in the country, and also has petroleum stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
SOCAR is the co-owner of the biggest Turkish petrochemical complex Petkim.
The official exchange rate is 0.7844 AZN/USD on March 14.
