Azerbaijani Coordination Council for Transit Cargo Transportations approved the upper limit of tariffs for transiting oil and oil products by rail, as well as their transhipment through sea terminals.

The Council said Dec. 8 that the upper limit was adopted taking into account the proposals of the Azerbaijani Railways, the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, and the country's sea terminals.

Tariffs include the cost of all kinds of services while transiting and transhipment of oil and oil products.

"Thus, the entities rendering these services, may apply discounts of up to 30 percent," said the Council.
