In January-July 2016 the consumption of oil products amounted to 1.91 million tons in Azerbaijan, that is, 11.4 percent more than in the same period of 2015, says a State Statistics Committee report.
The report says that 30.3 percent of the consumed oil products accounted for gasoline, 29.5 percent for black oil, 22.6 percent for diesel fuel, while the remaining part accounted for kerosene, naphtha, liquid petroleum gas, bitumen, lubricant and other oil products.
