The contract signed between SOCAR Energy Ukraine, Ltd., subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state company SOCAR and the Production Support Center (PSC) of Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC (Ukrainian Railways Company) for the supply of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel, will be in force until December 31, 2018, Ukrzaliznytsia told Trend.
“In order to meet the demand of Ukrzaliznytsia for diesel fuel in 2018, there was held e-trading for purchasing a total of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel based on formula pricing in accordance with Ukraine’s law “On public procurement” dated December 25, 2015,” said the Ukrzaliznytsia.
Ukrainian Railways Company said that formula pricing enables to change the price for diesel fuel based on Platts quotations.
“SOCAR Energy Ukraine became the winner of the trading and a supply agreement was signed with this company. The timing of delivery is five calendar days from the date of submitting shipping orders. The contract will be in force until December 31, 2018.”

"The estimated price offered by traders at formula trades is 3.9 percent higher than the average market price, which according to results of the monitoring by the “Consulting group A-95”, was 27,780 hryvnia per ton on the day of signing the contract," the source told Trend.
SOCAR Energy Ukraine, Ltd. Company won the tender of Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC (Ukrainian Railways) for the supply of 10,000 tons of diesel fuel in mid-June.
