In September 2018, the 21st energy company was granted a license to operate in Turkey, Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) told Trend on Oct. 9.
Anaka Enerji Ticaret Anonim Sirketi received a license to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) for a period of 30 years, EPDK said.
The EPDK noted that the license for the storage of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was issued to a Turkish company.
"The license for LPG storage was obtained by Kadooglu Petrolculuk Tasimacilik Ticaret Sanayi Ithalat Ve Ihracat AS for a period of 15 years," the EPDK added.
According to the EPDK, some 19 companies also have been licensed to produce electricity in Turkey.
