Four CNG filling stations will be installed in Iran's Miandoab and Bukan counties, Director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) in Miandoab County Davud Faalpour said, SHANA reported.
Private sector has allocated 120 billion Iranian rials (roughly $2.857 million) for establishment of the filling stations, he said, adding that the number of CNG filling stations in the region will reach 51.
"Some 449,000 cubic meters of gas is consumed daily in Miandoab. Thanks to the new stations 6,000 cubic meters of gas will be added for consumption," Faalpour said.
Presently, in Iran's West Azerbaijan Province, 20 stations provide CNG and 27 provide consumers with CNG and petroleum.
