Seven projects of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company in next two years revealed

The Director of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company announced launch of seven company projects.

“Over next two years, 18 petrochemical projects, seven of which will be managed by our company, will be developed in the country, ” Managing Director of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company Jafar Rabieie said, Trend reports citing SHANA.

Having said that urea, ammonia and methanol products will be added to the products of the company, he noted that Hengam ammonia unit will be utilized in 2020, while the Hengam urea unit and the Apadana project will be in operation in the year 2021.

In his words, the petrochemicals' report on the supply of foreign currency can be defended by the NIMA system. "Apart from the currency that is spent on its own petrochemical complexes, such as catalysts, chemicals, equipment and others, the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company returned its currency to NIMA,” he added.

Referring to the international restrictions for petrochemical complexes, he said that this issue is managed by the company and it continues the production and export operations.
