Turkmenistan’s crude oil production down

Crude and non-conventional oil exports from Turkmenistan stood at 34,000 barrels per day in 2018, remaining unchanged from 2017, Trend reports citing the World Oil Review – 2019 of Italy’s Eni company.

The country’s crude oil, non-conventional oil and natural gas liquids production stood at 219,000 barrels per day in 2018, as compared to 232,000 barrels per day in 2017, thus declining by 5.6 percent, reads the report.

Oil consumption in Turkmenistan totaled 165,000 barrels per day in 2018, as compared to 157,000 barrels per day in 2017, up by 4.9 percent, according to Eni’s estimates.

Per capita oil consumption in the country equaled 10.26 barrels in 2018, as compared to 9.94 barrels in 2017, said the report.

Eni said that Turkmenistan’s oil reserves stood at 600 million barrels in 2018, remaining unchanged from 2017.
