Iran carries out petrochemicals export operations smoothly and satisfactorily, Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said, Trend reports citing ICANA News Agency.
According to the minister, 95 percent of the currency received from the petrochemicals exported so far has been delivered to the country.
Zanganeh noted that Persian Gulf Star Oil Company, Parsian Holding and Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Company are actively participating in bringing foreign currencies to the country.
There are 56 petrochemical facilities in Iran. The country manufactures 31 million tons of final products annually. Of these, 22.5 million tons are exported. The value of the exported goods stand at $17 billion.
