Turkmenistan is expected to produce 0.27 million barrels of petroleum and other liquids per day as of 2019, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its October Short-term Energy Outlook (STEO), Trend reports.
This is while in the previous STEO, it was expected to stand at 0.26 million barrels per day.
This figure is expected to drop to 0.24 million barrels per day in 2020, according to EIA’s forecasts.
As EIA estimates, Turkmenistan produced 0.30 million and 0.28 million barrels of petroleum and other liquids per day in the first and second quarters of 2019, respectively.
The country’s petroleum production is predicted to stabilize at 0.25 million barrels per day in the third and fourth quarters of 2019 each.
This is while the country’s quarterly production in 2020 is expected to remain at 0.24 million barrels per day for all four quarters.
EIA estimates that Turkmenistan’s daily petroleum and other liquids production stood at 0.28 million barrels as of 2018.
