Epsilon boosts productivity of oil, gas wells in Uzbekistan’s Kashkadarya region

Epsilon Development Company continues to increase the productivity of wells in the fields in the Kashkadarya region, developed jointly with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company, Trend reports citing the company's statement.

The production of hydrocarbon raw materials is increasing, and the gas pipeline infrastructure of the territories is expanding in order to ensure uninterrupted supply of the entire extracted volume to the population in the winter, read the message.

After hydraulic fracturing, on December 5, the flow rate of two wells of the Koratepa field amounted to 110,000 cubic meters of gas and 124.6 barrels of oil per day, read the message.

The daily production rate of the Koratepa-12 well increased to 50,000 cubic meters of gas and 21.9 barrels of oil.

The daily production rate of the Koratepa-16 well increased from 20,000 to 60,000 cubic meters of gas and from 58.6 barrels to 102.6 barrels of oil.

The work is carried out with usage of modern equipment, advanced methods and technologies. In order to prevent harmful effects on the environment, upon completion of work, soil reclamation will be carried out in the adjacent territory, including with the use of reagents, the report said.

The main activities of Epsilon are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons and flare gas and oil; construction of industrial facilities; construction of transport communications.

One of the missions of the company in Uzbekistan is to develop and progress new and sustainable energy projects, which will serve as a catalyst for socio-economic development at both regional and national levels.

For the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, a consortium of investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company, and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).

In the framework of joint activities, Epsilon has already commenced large-scale exploration within the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana investment blocks.
