New gas field put into service in Turkmenistan

A new Tajibay gas field put into service in industrial development in the south of the Lebap province of Turkmenistan, Trend reports via the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper .

The daily productivity of a production well is more than 450,000 cubic meters of fuel. At the same time, three more exploration wells are being drilled, the report said.

Earlier it was reported that the Turkmengelogiya state corporation completed drilling of a well with a depth of 2,400 meters at the Tajibay prospective hydrocarbon area, where an influx of industrially significant natural gas without sulfur was obtained.

Currently, about 30 gas and gas condensate fields are being developed in Turkmenistan, including such as Dovletabat and Shatlyk, Malay, Kerpichli, Gazlydepe, Bagadzha Yelguy and others fields.

Agarguy and Northern Gazlydepe fields have been discovered in the Lebap province, South Gutlyyak, Geyazli in the Akhal, and Garakel in the Mary province. In addition, an increase in industrial reserves was achieved at the Northern Naip, Bagadzha, Chertak, Garajaovlak fields.
