Almost 3.2 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan in January 2020, which is 3.8 percent less compared to January 2019, Trend reports referring to the report of country’s State Statistical Committee.
During this month, the volume of produced gas amounted to almost 3.5 billion cubic meters, including 2.4 billion cubic meters of commercial gas. On an annualized basis, these indicators increased by 14.2 percent and 21.1 percent, respectively.
As of February 1, 2020, the stock of finished oil products amounted to 238,600 tons.
In 2019, over 37.5 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan, which is roughly equal to 2018. The main volume of oil production in Azerbaijan accounted for the Azeri-Chirag Deep Water Gunashli (ACG) field.
In 2019, the volume of gas production in Azerbaijan exceeded 35.5 billion cubic meters, and production of commercial gas exceeded 24.5 billion cubic meters.
