Uzbekneftegaz reveals natural gas and gas condensate production volumes

The volume of natural gas and gas condensate by the Natural Gas-Stream JV amounted to 3.95 billion cubic meters and 122,600 tons respectively, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

JV Natural Gas-Stream LLC is implementing an investment project on geological exploration at the Sechankul, Akdzhar and Chimbay investment blocks, as well as development of the Urga, Akchalak and Chandyr fields with a total value of $701.4 million.

To date, within the framework of the project, 25 wells have been drilled, and 3D CDP (common depth point) field seismic surveys have been carried out on an area of 600 sq. km.

In the Akchalak group of fields, eight wells were drilled, capital repairs were completed on 10 wells, 13 wells were equipped, 52.4 km of gas pipelines and loops were built.

Some 16 wells were drilled in the Chandyr group of fields, capital repairs were completed on six wells, 27 wells were equipped, 116.66 km of gas pipelines and loops were built, 87.2 km of high-voltage lines. The rotational camp was put into operation.

At the Urga field, one deep appraisal and production well was drilled, sidetracking was completed at two wells, overhaul was completed at five wells, two wells were equipped and a shift camp was built.

Currently, work is underway to drill one prospecting well at the Akchalak investment block (Zholymbet area), which is expected to be completed at the end of December this year.

In order to increase natural gas production, the Natural Gas-Stream JV developed a plan of practical measures providing for the drilling of two wells and sidetracks in six wells, overhaul in 11 wells, the implementation of which will increase the daily production of natural gas from 3.66 million cubic meters up to four million cubic meters.

In 2020, it is expected to develop investments in the amount of $54.1.
