Equipment for the modernization of propane-butane mixture production units in Uzbekistan will be supplied from Ukraine, Russia and Switzerland, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz press service.
Uzbekneftegaz JSC is implementing the project on modernization of the existing three units for the production of propane-butane mixture (UPPBS-3 / 1,2,5) in the Shurtan oil and gas production department. The total cost of this project amounts to $49 million.
The project is aimed at the production of an additional 61,000 tons of propane-butane mixture per year at the existing plants for the production of propane-butane mixture and, on the basis of this, meeting the growing demand for these products in the domestic market.
In order to provide this project with equipment and materials, 11 foreign contracts totaling $19.7 million, as well as 28 local contracts totaling 43.38 billion soums ($4.19 million), were concluded with manufacturing enterprises and their official representatives. Currently, funding has been provided for all foreign and local contracts.
Contracts have been concluded with the Ukrainian Sumy NPO, Russian KMPO, NIPI NG PETON, Electrostandard-instrument, Swiss Endress + Hauser and other foreign manufacturers.
