The first batch of winter diesel fuel with a pour point no higher than - 25°С will be available to the mass consumer of the Fergana region in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the press service of Fergana Oil Refinery.

From October 2, 2020, Fergana Oil Refinery LLC will begin mass production of winter diesel fuel for the needs of the national economy and private car owners. The mentioned diesel fuel was not previously produced and was purchased abroad.

The plant's specialists carried out a whole cycle of laboratory research, industrial tests, and production of a new low-solidifying winter fuel of the DTZ-2 brand.

As a result, the first batch of winter diesel fuel with a pour point no higher than -25° C and a maximum filterability temperature of no higher than -18°C, which is so necessary for the autumn-winter period, will be available to the mass consumer at the oil products exchange.

In addition to low-solidification properties, this diesel fuel has an improved fractional composition (makes it easier to pump it through the fuel line of the engine), facilitates the cold start of the engine, and also has a high cetane number, which ensures the power and economy of the engine.

The work on the production of new demanded, high-quality, and environmentally friendly types of petroleum products continues.
