By Leman Zeynalova – Trend:

Azerbaijan’s crude oil production held steady in October at 587,000 barrels per day, in line with its agreed output target as part of the OPEC+ deal, Trend reports citing the International Energy Agency (IEA).

“The BP operated Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields contributed 461,000 barrels per day, or 79 percent of the total, with SOCAR fields pumping the remaining 126,000 barrels per day. Including condensates from the Shah Deniz gas field, production was 675,000 barrels per day, a 20,000 barrels per day increase on September when condensate production dropped to its lowest level in more than a year,” reads the IEA report.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields until October 1, a total of 547.6 million tons of oil (together with condensate) have been produced, according to the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.

According to the data, 518.2 million tons of condensate were produced from the ACG field and 29.4 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields until October 1, 2020, 547 million tons of oil (together with condensate) have been exported.

During this period, 173.7 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and 130.1 billion cubic meters of gas from Shah Deniz.

Since the commissioning of the Shah Deniz field until October 1 of this year, 86.5 billion cubic meters of gas have been exported.
