OSCE considering Turkmenistan’s energy diplomacy development program

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Turkmenistan have discussed the possible steps for the creation of Turkmenistan’s energy diplomacy development programme, Trend reports with reference to OSCE center in Ashgabat.

The discussions were held during an online seminar on energy diplomacy organized by the OSCE.

The seminar provided an overview of international priorities in the energy sector, as well as an analysis of global trends and strategies in this area.

The fact that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of energy diplomacy were noted, as well as priorities and practical aspects of energy diplomacy of Turkmenistan were discussed during the meeting.

As it was reported earlier, in order to develop its own energy sector, Turkmenistan will study key trends in the global oil and gas industry, the state of world energy markets and analyze the demand for the main types of products.

In order to improve the country's fuel and energy sector, the country will also diversify the oil and gas sector and modernize its infrastructure on an innovative basis.
