Natural gas use in Azerbaijan has changed from 896.92 standard cubic meters (scm) in 2010 to 1,175.26 scm in 2019, Trend reports with reference to the estimates of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
This figure rose from 2010 indicators to 980.43 scm in 2011, further rising to 1,004.32 scm in 2012, then nosediving to 1,001.22 scm in 2013.
Natural gas use in Azerbaijan was on rise in 2014 and 2015 standing at 1,053.67 scm and 1,152.19 scm, respectively.
Two consecutive years saw a continuous drop with 1,112.17 scm and 1,065.06 scm, rising again to 1,085.10 scm in 2018.
Energy use in the country has been on rise since 2010 standing at 1,279.55 kg of oil equivalent per capita, then soaring to 1,369.35 kg of oil equivalent in 2011.
This figure continues to rise to 1,472.90 kg of oil equivalent in 2012, 1,474.00 kg of oil equivalent in 2013 and 1,502.08 kg of oil equivalent in 2014.
No data has been provided by GECF for the subsequent years.
