SOCAR expands its activities in Ukraine

SOCAR has invested up to $300 million in SOCAR Energy Ukraine since its launch, Trend reports with reference to SOCAR's ‘Sustainable Development’ report.

According to the report, there are more than 60 filling stations and 4 oil depots owned by the company in Ukraine.

In 2019, SOCAR Energy Ukraine (Ukrainian subsidiary of SOCAR Azerbaijan) launched two oil bunkering tankers - water filling stations. They are designed for refueling small and medium sized ships. One of the bunkering workers is located in Kyiv on the territory of the Muromets park, in the Vodorot tract, the second is in the Odessa region, in the water area of ​​the Sauvignon yacht club.

SOCAR operates in Ukraine through SOCAR Energy Ukraine, which was established in December 2009. The main activity of the company is wholesale and retail sale of petroleum products, wholesale of natural gas and aviation fuel.
