Work underway to supply gas to rural settlements in Turkmenistan’s Mary region

The Mary region of Turkmenistan is actively working on supplying gas to rural settlements, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.

The construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline in the Vekilbazar district of the region is currently in the final stage. So, the diameter of the installed pipes is 315 millimeters, the length of the gas pipeline is 2,000 meters.

A gas pipeline with a length of 4,074 meters of high and medium pressure has been built in the region since the beginning of 2021.

In addition, work is being carried out on the reconstruction and installation of existing gas pipelines - polyethylene pipes are used, which are characterized by high density and can withstand high pressure.

The plan for oil refining in Turkmenistan was exceeded by 0.5 percent from January through February 2021.

During the reporting period, the plan for the production of gasoline was exceeded by 5.9 percent, diesel fuel-by 2.3 percent, polypropylene-by 3.3 percent.

Also, the plan for the production of lubricating oils was exceeded by 4.6 percent, natural and associated gas production – by 10.2 percent gas exports – by 8.5 percent investment development – by 18.8 percent.

In January 2021, the plan for oil refining in Turkmenistan was exceeded by 0.8 percent.
