The Ustyurt Gas Production Department as of March 21, 2021 daily produced 9.6 million cubic meters of natural gas and 156 tons of gas condensate, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Uzbekneftegaz reports that this year, eight new wells were launched at the gas fields of the Ustyurt gas production department, and seven existing wells were overhauled, as a result of which the daily volume of natural gas produced by the department increased by one million cubic meters.
According to comprehensive measures aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production, approved by order of the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC on comprehensive measures aimed at increasing gas and gas condensate production rates, drilling of 28 wells is planned in 2021, capital repair of 70 wells and commissioning of eight technological facilities.
"As a result of the timely implementation of these geological and technical measures, it is planned to produce 953.5 million cubic meters of natural gas and 23,700 tons of gas condensate," Uzbekneftegaz noted.
In particular, in accordance with the decree of the president of Uzbekistan, seven wells were equipped and put into operation at the facilities of the Ustyurt gas production department in the reporting period of this year.
In addition, it is planned to start drilling 23 wells in 2021. As a result of the timely implementation of these works, the daily rate of natural gas production is planned to increase by an additional 1.725 million cubic meters.
