SOCAR-AQS LLC fulfilled the drilling progress plan to the extent of 101.2 percent in 2020, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR.
The drilling works to the extent of 15939 m were performed actually against plan of 15756 m. Since no exploration drilling is planned by SOCAR-AQS LLC for 2020, all of the drilling transitions fall to share of development drilling.
Plan on wells completed with construction, was fulfilled to the extent of 92.3 percent by SOCAR-AQS LLC and 12 wells (1 well less) were handed over against plan of 13 wells. One of the wells handed over under the plan was the exploratory well (well №38 through Fixed Offshore Platform 7). In 2020, drilling works to the extent of 7953 m were performed against 7953 m plan for Gulf-Drilling company, and the drilling plan was fulfilled at 100 percent.
Since no exploration drilling is planned for the year, all of the drilling transitions fall to share of development drilling. The plan on completion of wells with construction was fulfilled as 75 percent and 3 wells (1 well less) were handed over against plan of 4 wells.
In Bulla-Deniz field, 2 wells (well 91 from FOP No. 12, well 122 from FOP No. 122) planned to be completed by 2020 by the Complex Drilling Works Trust without drilling and construction and without drilling and completed construction. In well 91 at Bulla Deniz field, SOCAR applied a new drilling technology, Managing Pressure Drilling (MPD) technology, and drilled up to 6,703 m by co-drilling layers that did not have the same pressure. Well No. 122 drilled from FOP No. 122 was drilled to a depth of 5,786 m. Although SOCAR-AQS LLC planned to complete the construction of well 113 from FOP No. 6, the plan was not fulfilled due to the delay in the elimination of the accident. During 2020, 399 m (6304 m-6703 m) was drilled in well 91 drilled from jacket 12, and 389 m (5397 m-5786 m) was drilled in well 122 drilled from jacket 122.
