BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 15

Trend:

Kazakhstan’s "KazTransGas" national company has completed the construction of the "Beineu" gas metering station in the Mangistau region, Trend reports referring to Kazinform.

The new “Beineu” gas metering station, according to the technological scheme, is located at the zero kilometers of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline. The design gas pressure at the station will be 7.4 MPa (74 kgf/cm2).

The station will allow cleaning of the gas supplied to the installation, after which it will be supplied through the outlet manifold to the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline.

The gas metering station was built in accordance with all technical requirements using the most modern technologies. Its work will make it possible to improve the accuracy of gas metering data, as well as gas quality indicators to control and prevent the supply of substandard gas to the gas transmission system.

The operation of the station minimizes the risks of reduced throughput, the emergence of conditions for the formation of hydrates, which will significantly increase the service life of the gas pipeline and reduce the cost of its repair and maintenance. This will have a positive effect on the efficiency of the domestic gas transmission system.
