Turkmenistan's Seydi Oil Refinery sends the bulk of its products for export, Trend reports citing Nebit-Gaz.
Russia, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan are the top three consumers of diesel fuel. Heavy vacuum gas oil is marketed in European countries.
The plant processed more than 464,500 tons of raw materials, completing 110 percent of the production goal over the course of 11 months. Last year's growth rate was 105.3 percent.
Over 202,700 tons of gasoline, 123,400 tons of diesel fuel, 22,500 tons of fuel oil, more than 31,700 tons of road bitumen, and other market-demanded items were manufactured and distributed by the plant.
The Seydi oil refinery is located in the Lebap region, on the left bank of the Amu Darya river, in the city of Seydi, Danevsky district. The plant consists of three main technological facilities, as well as auxiliary sections for these facilities. The main products of the enterprise are liquefied gas, gas condensate, light oil products. Its capacity allows processing six million tons of oil per year.
A unit for the production of road bitumen with an annual capacity of 37,200 tons was built in the structure of the plant in 2015. Two years later, the refinery also launched a catalytic reforming unit with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of high-octane gasoline.
