Kazakhstan increases fuel oil production in 10M2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jan. 24

Trend:

Kazakhstan produced 222,000 tons of fuel oil in October 2021, which is by 8.1 percent more than in October 2020 and by nine percent less than in September 2021, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s statistics.

Moreover, Kazakhstan produced 2.2 million tons of fuel oil from January through October 2021, which is by 20.8 percent more than in the same period of 2020.

Some 154,035 tons of this volume were exported in October 2021 (decrease of 22.7 percent compared to October 2020 and increase of 3.5 percent compared to September 2021).

The remaining 67,964 tons were sold on the domestic market (increase of 2.4 times compared to October 2020 and decrease of 28.5 percent compared to September 2021).

Some 1.7 million tons of fuel oil were exported by Kazakhstan as of the first 10 months of 2021 (increase of 41.8 percent compared to the same period of 2020), while 537,834 tons were sold on the domestic market (decrease of 18.6 percent).
